I have spent my entire professional career as an attorney achieving favorable results for my clients while creating relationships based on trust. I bring the following qualities to each legal matter, providing unique benefits to my clients.
Personal Integrity – I believe that “Integrity is not just a word but a way of life.” It means always putting what is best for you first. Trust is essential to any successful relationship. I am extremely proud of my reputation for uncompromising integrity, earned over my entire professional career.
Experienced Professional – An attorney with extensive experience in real estate law and a real estate broker since 1976, I will put my experience to work for you. My background allows me to effectively manage, explain and help you with all elements of a transaction.
Effective Communicator – Constant and honest communication are essential to keep you informed. I will answer your questions, helping you to understand and be comfortable. Being available to my clients and returning all telephone calls as soon as possible are keys elements of my success.
Trusted Advisor – We will work together as a team so that you will be able to make informed decisions. I will provide you with information, advice and guidance, but the ultimate decisions are yours.
Expert Facilitator – I am a problem solver, but of at least equal importance, a problem preventer. Going to court is almost always a last option. My goal is to keep my clients out of court and resolve matters at the negotiation table with results that are acceptable to my clients.
Skilled Negotiator – A professional advocate, I have throughout my career negotiated successfully on behalf of my clients.
Education – Northwestern University Law School: graduated Cum Laude; Member, Northwestern University Law Review; Member, Order of the Coif (upper 10% of class); University of Illinois: Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Charitable Activities – I’ve completed a Century bike ride (100 miles in 1 day) around Lake Tahoe to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)., and will do a local Century on August 2nd, to again raise money for LLS. Please join me in the fight against blood cancers by joining my TEAM PLAY HURT (there are rides that start at 5 miles) or by making a donation by going to: http://events.lls.org/pages/il/bikebst/teamplayhurt
Other Activities – I’ve driven on racetracks in 6 different states. It’s something that I really enjoyed, except for the rolling over part (twice).
This is the 19th year I’ve played baseball (not softball) in a Men’s Senior Baseball League, and a national organization with over 4,000 leagues. We play about 30 games a year, and last year were 1 game away from a 4-peat.
Three days a week, the 60- to 73-year-old men of the Jaxx baseball team trot out to a field in suburban Chicago to play a child’s game.
